We let our passengers determine what times they wish to fly, and we do everything in our power to meet their wishes. We are open 7 days a week and will do our best to accommodate our clients needs. Customers always come first.
At Air Atlanta Helicopters, safety is always our first priority no matter what. Our pilots are trained beyond the rotocraft rating they currently hold and are accident and incident free. In addition, the company maintains a 100% safety record.
Since we only reserve helicopters for tours with a minimum of two people, the helicopter will be used with your party only and no other passengers. We want you to enjoy your tour without other distractions, so consider the helicopter yours until we get back on the ground.
We request bookings be made as far in advance as possible so we are able to accommodate your scheduling desires. Helicopter tours make wonderful birthday, anniversary or other special occasion gifts, so try to call us well in advance so we can make arrangements for you.
We try to make it as easy as possible! All we need is your name, contact information, the approximate weights of each passenger aboard the aircraft and a $50 deposit secured on any of the major credit cards we accept (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover). Charters require a deposit equal to 1 hour of flight time.
We prefer all passengers arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time of departure. This will allow us to pre-flight all passengers regarding safety issues concerning the helicopter.
Air Atlanta Helicopters maintains a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any tour cancelled in less than 24 hours prior to departure will forfeit the $50 deposit. If you’re able to reschedule your tour instead of cancelling (which we hope you are!) there is no fee for rescheduling; however, in the event a rescheduled tour is cancelled, Air Atlanta Helicopters retains the original $50 deposit.
If the weather does not cooperate the day of your helicopter tour, the flight will be rescheduled for a time that is convenient for you. There will be no charge if you decide not to reschedule your tour due to inclement weather, and your original $50 deposit will be happily refunded.
Our primary tour helicopter is a Robinson R44 which has window seats for 3 passengers. If you require a larger helicopter we are happy to resource and quote this for you.
Absolutely! We will be glad to pick you up from anywhere we have written permission and a place that will give us plenty of room to land the helicopter. Please keep in mind there is additional charge for picking up passengers at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
Yes, the pilot will talk to you and point out all the surroundings of the tour that you have chosen. All passengers will be wearing headsets so you are also able to talk amongst yourselves in the helicopter. If you wish, the pilot can activate a mute feature on his headset to allow you some privacy with your guests.
Of course, and we encourage it. Robinson helicopters provide a smooth ride, and since every seat has a window, you will have pictures to last a lifetime. If you take any great footage or shots you would like to share with us, let us know and we will gladly add them to our website or display them in our office. You can never have enough pictures. If you forget your camera we would be happy to allow a co-pilot to accompany you on your tour and snap photos for a $25 charge.
Yes. There is a $10 corkage fee if you would like to bring your own champagne aboard the helicopter. We are also happy to provide champagne for you for $50.
Tipping is at your discretion and should be based upon the service provided. Please do not feel pressured, but any tip received is always appreciated.
